Beatriz Farias joins Horwath HTL as Director of Tourism

Following the strategy of Horwath HTL‘s 2020 plan to incorporate independent firms and/or professionals to cover the firm’s core service areas and provide services worldwide and develop new lines of business in local markets, Horwath HTL has incorporated to its team Beatriz Farías as director of Horwath HTL, to lead tourism services in both public and public-private sectors. She will lead the practice and the team to develop destination planning and strategy projects, tourism sustainability plans, tourism product and experience design, destination marketing plans and technical assistance for the management of PSTD, tourism destinations and management entities. In addition to the transversal area for the management of NGUE funds.
With more than 20 years of experience, most of them dedicated to public sector projects: state, regional and municipal. Beatriz is a specialist in projects financed with national and European public funds and Funds from the InterAmerican Development Bank (IDB), linked to rural development, culture, heritage, leisure and tourism, at a national and international level.
